I actually didn't make it to the pro-coalition rally on time so I only could capture Layton's speech :) I heard Dion's wasn't very inspirational though from those who were there earlier.

The anti-coalition rally was honestly pretty disorganized. I never saw who the speaker was there, and was trying to film her. It was unfortunate to see some of the behaviour there too.

Thanks for the comment, Simon :)

It is interesting to see/hear the contrasts between the two rallies. The public seems much more enthused/loud with the pro-coalition rally, where as in the anti-coalition rally, it is quiet and people are paying attention to what is being said - yet the signs seem more original. Its too bad you couldn't get a shot of the speaker of the anti-coalition rally - who was it?

It also seems like the pro-coalition rally is acting as if it is an election all over again - speaking about reforms in child care, climate change and fair trade with the States. Are these really the issues that divide the parties in the house to create a coalition? I'm not so sure. As far as I'm concerned right now, the primary issue that our government needs to address is how it will proceed with a global economic recession.

I was not at either of these rallies, but in your video - it only shows Jack Layton speaking - maybe that was a conscious decision since the general public seem to think that Dion is not convincing enough of a leader? Interesting, even though Dion was appointed the leader of such a coalition. (!)

It is also discouraging to see the arguments toward the end of the clip, especially the curse words. Its one thing to fight for what you believe, but fighting for the sake of fighting is pointless and ugly!

That was well done.
I'm curious to know what camera and software you used.

And were you able to do this yourself or were two people involved?

Too many questions?
