Adam (dressed as Doctor Who, NOT Sylar) and Ryan (dressed as Frank West, and not pictured anywhere as he was manning the camera) hit Church Street in Toronto on Halloween night to talk to paintings, shower curtains, and Facebook. In the end, it’s all about job creation.
Note: Normally our uploads are done through blip.tv but today it isn’t cooperating with us. Viddler works just as well and you can even comment on the timeline of the video itself. Let us know what you think of it; should we switch to Viddler, Vimeo perhaps, or stick with blip?

ha!, i spotted myself twice in the background.
Great video, and viddler looks great. But whats with the overly blurry shots?
Ryan got himself a new camera - we’re going to start shooting all HD soon so there’s still some kinks to work out.
Thanks for the comment
The camera I was shooting with is a Nikon D90 and I had an F/1.8 lens on it. The video was shot at f/1.8 as well, so the depth of field was really low.
Thanks for commentin’!
You went as the Doctor for Halloween?
Quit being so awesome!
I did indeed. It was a very last minute idea, and maybe 4-5 people over the course of the night guessed it right, but I had a blast with it. Scott I think I saw you at some point in the night, but it’s a bit of a blur now that I look back on it…
Did you guys shoot this with different gear (vid, audio)? The narrow DOF on the camera is awesome.
Video was shot with my D90 and an F/1.8 lens set to F1.8, and once filming there is no auto-focus; it was all hand twisting. Audio was recorded with an iPhone, a Creative Zen Vision (once the iPhone battery nearly died, which was pretty quick!) and a couple were with the on-camera mic (not a good one, particularly in the loud situation, but I couldn’t be bothered to sync up one or two things).
I figured that it was most likely the d90 you guys were playing with. I love it, I love the textures and the dof, and the blurriness, i just thought maybe ryan was distracted by some of the costumes and failed to look at the view
looking forward to seeing more with the d90.
I start shooting vids with the 5d mark ii tomorrow, can’t f’n wait!
“Thank fucking god!”
Humm. Potty mouth. And I wasn’t even drunk!
