Gabe Toth is a photographer in Toronto who I’ve known since my early days in blogging, and he does some incredible portrait photography, so I was happy to come by and document his latest photoshoot with Superstein’s John Walke. Fair warning - this video is probably a little not safe for work seeing that Superstein was doing a shoot for some new underwear designs they’re releasing. Music by Crystal Castles.
Here’s a smattering of recent photos that were placed in the Dear Toronto Flickr group’s photo pool. They’re pretty awesome, don’t'cha think? Along with all the video we produce we are looking at other forms of rich media, and dear old Toronto is no slouch when it comes to the photo department! We know some of our watchers are snap-happy photogs and we’d love for all of you to join the Flickr pool.
We’ll be featuring photos from the pool, both in slideshows and solo, with greater frequency on DearToronto.com and we’d also like to feature them in our videos too where appropriate, but we can’t do all of that if you guys don’t post to the pool! Joining the group is easy-peasy, and hey, did ya notice that you can upload 90 second video clips to Flickr as well? If we see any clips in the pool that truly catch us in their grips, mayhaps we’ll also feature it on the site as well!
Adam (dressed as Doctor Who, NOT Sylar) and Ryan (dressed as Frank West, and not pictured anywhere as he was manning the camera) hit Church Street in Toronto on Halloween night to talk to paintings, shower curtains, and Facebook. In the end, it’s all about job creation.
Note: Normally our uploads are done through blip.tv but today it isn’t cooperating with us. Viddler works just as well and you can even comment on the timeline of the video itself. Let us know what you think of it; should we switch to Viddler, Vimeo perhaps, or stick with blip?
